PIMA COUNTY, AZ ( Tucson News Now) - Traffic on Interstate 10 was slow moving for hours Saturday, May 13 because of a shooting near the Casa Blanca exit, according to Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Arizona Department of Transportation has been warning drivers of a detour.
The duty office of AZDPS confirmed just before 8 p.m. that at least one person was shot. The message stated that no law enforcement officers were involved in the shooting.
Department spokesman Bart Graves said troopers responded to reports of a possible shooting and road rage incident around 5:30 p.m.
Graves aid first responders found a driver and passenger who were hurt, but both were expected to survive. Witnesses helped troopers identify the suspects and two people were arrested.
