SILVER ALERT: Missing Scottsdale man found safe in California

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A missing Scottsdale man was found safe in California after his vehicle ran out of gas, state police said.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety said Donald Stombres, 75, was picked up by the Burbank Police Department around 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 16.

DPS said Stombres is in good health and will be reunited with his family in Arizona.
