NOW HIRING: Sahuarita Police Department

SAHUARITA, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Sahuarita Police Department has multiple job openings for police officers. 

In order to apply one must go to the Town of Sahuarita website, www.sahuaritaaz.gov, and fill out both a Town and AZ POST application. A brochure on the position is available on this site and outlines the job, pay, benefits, and the testing process.

Those candidates that meet the minimum requirements will be invited to take the Police Officer Physical Aptitude Test (POPAT) on June 9, 2018.

Candidates that pass the POPAT, will then take a written test also conducted on June 9, 2018. 

The department is hiring the best of Arizona POST certified officers and those candidates that will need to attend a police academy.

 The hourly pay range is from $22.00 to $31.90 an hour, which does not included multiple types of specialty pay or overtime.
