Tucson Youth Development provides career internships for young people looking to get hands-on experience in a field of their interest.

Healthcare, biotechnology, logistics and machinist trades are the fields for which the program offers internships.

After a person gains experience through the internship program TYD follows up with them to help them take the next steps in their field, ranging from getting certifications to accessing training programs.

If you're interested in a career internship through Tucson Youth Development contact the programs director at (520) 623-5843 ext. 2019 or at programs@acehs.org

More information about Tucson Youth Development can be found here.

Tucson Youth Development also offers workshops as another option for youth looking for experience or knowledge in their chosen fields. Topics range from financial literacy to leadership and understanding the expectations of employers. In those workshops TYD walks young people through writing resumes, preparing for interviews, and researching pathways that will lead them to success.
