Tucson police investigate burglary, vandalism at elementary school near D-M

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

Tucson police are investigating a case of burglary and vandalism at an elementary school near Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

According to a spokeswoman with the Tucson Unified School District, the crime happened between 9:30 p.m. Monday, May 21 and 6 a.m. the following morning at Myers-Ganoung Elementary School, 5000 E. Andrew Street. 

Among the items taken were three projectors, three laptop computers and two desktop computers. The suspects entered four classrooms by breaking windows. 

Four other laptops and a desktop were damaged.

One room was vandalized with items tossed around the room.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Tucson police or 88-CRIME.
