TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Two alleged serial armed robbers were arrested by the Tucson Police Department earlier this month.
Detectives arrested Neville Waugh Jr., 28, and Andrea Carrasco, 25, in connection with more than 20 crimes beginning in January.
According to a news release, the US Marshall Fugitive Investigative Strike Team and officers from Operations Division Midtown located Waugh Jr. and Carrasco in a stolen vehicle in the 3600 block of E. 32nd St.
When they saw officers, they both fled on foot. Carrasco was apprehended immediately and Waugh Jr. was taken into custody a short time later.
They were transported and booked into the Pima County Jail and both face over 60 charges, including armed robbery, robbery, burglary and auto theft.
