Paving, traffic switch on Cortaro Farms Road from Camino de Oeste to Thornydale Road

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

On Monday, June 4 between the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m., Pima County Department of Transportation along with their contractor, Hunter Contracting, will be paving the first lift of the eastbound lanes on Cortaro Farms Road from Camino de Oeste to Thornydale Road.

Monday, June 4 through Friday, June 8: Crews will be paving the eastbound lanes and placing temporary striping. On Monday, June 11, traffic will be switched to the newly paved eastbound
lanes and begin work on the westbound lanes.

Sheriff’s deputies will be on-site directing traffic through the work zone during paving activities.

Please approach the area with caution and obey all traffic control devices. Minor delays may occur during this work.

In the event of mechanical failure or inclement weather, the construction schedule is subject to change.
