TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Empowering woman through the power of princesses.

That was the goal Friday, June 1 at the Gospel Rescue Mission Women and Children's Center.

Fair Maidens & Masks, a new character company in Tucson, teamed up with the center to make the women and their children feel like royalty.

Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel and Moana were all there.

The Gospel Rescue Mission works with those in our community who have fallen on hard times. Many of those women are homeless or battling addiction.

Angie Kayfes, director of the center, said they wanted to help celebrate the "princess" inside each and every one of them.
