Justice Court, other county services closed or curtailed Thursday

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A lingering power outage Wednesday night at the Pima County Public Service Center, 240 N. Stone Ave., has yet to be resolved and several County agencies will be closed or unavailable Thursday, June 7, until the power is restored.

The outage, which is specific to the building, began Wednesday afternoon. Its cause is still being determined.

The outage has disrupted services at the Justice Court and the County Assessor, Treasurer and Recorder.

The Pima County Justice Court will be closed Thursday until the power is restored. The outage has also disrupted phone service to the building, therefore, members of the public who have appointments with the court are encouraged to check the court's website, www.jp.pima.gov, for updates before coming to the court. Or they can check the County's webpage - pima.gov, or the county's Facebook Page. Anyone who had a court hearing will be notified a new hearing date.

The Assessor, Treasurer and Recorder will be open but have limited services. The County Recorder's Eastside location, 6920 E. Broadway, will have full services available and the Eastside office phones are working, 724-4350.
