TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - The FC Tucson Women and San Diego SeaLions played to a 1-1 draw Saturday night in Southern California.

FCTW (4-2-1, 13 points) entered the weekend needing at least a win and a tie to assure themselves of a PacSouth Division title.

They'll now need that win in a quick turnaround Sunday at Noon when they face the San Diego Parceiro Ladies.

The Parceiro Ladies (2-3-1) helped out Tucson Saturday night with a 4-0 when over Phoenix SC del Sol. Phoenix also entered the weekend with a chance to win the division outright.

Allison Paniere (Sahuaro '15) scored four minutes into Saturday night's match for FC Tucson on an assist by Jillienne Aguilera.

The SeaLions (0-3-4) though found the equalizer in the 70th minute.

The draw gives FCTW a one-point lead in the PacSouth Division over L.A. Galaxy San Diego (3-1-3). The Galaxy are off this weekend and have one match remaining next Saturday.

A win Sunday for FC Tucson gives them the division championship and a playoff trip to Seattle.

It would be the side's first title since they won the Big Sky Conference North Division championship (6-1-1, 19 points) five years ago. That was back when the side was known as Tucson Soccer Academy FC.
