TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A house fire on Thursday afternoon displaces a family of three and sends a firefighter to the hospital, according to the Tucson Fire Department.

TFD responded to the scene of a house fire in the 900 block of West Pennsylvania Street around 4 p.m. to find the structure in flames.

According to TFD, the family was not at home at the time of the fire, but have been displaced. They will be staying with family and did not require assistance from the Red Cross.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure, according to TFD, there were no other injuries reported.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
