TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

The Pima County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in locating 89-year-old Robert Crubaugh, as the Arizona Department of Public Safety has issued a Silver Alert.

According to PCSD, Crubaugh was last seen at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4 in the 8900 block of West Bopp Road, when he told a neighbor that he was leaving his house to go run errands in his vehicle. According to DPS, the neighbor received a call from Crubaugh at approximately 2:30 p.m. Saturday in which he said he needed to get off of the phone as he was getting pulled over and the officer was telling him to get off of the phone.

He is described as white, 5-foot-11, 200 pounds with white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue pants and red, white and blue suspenders.  He also uses a walker.

Crubaugh may be driving a black 2008 Chevy Trailblazer with a wheelchair hookup in the back and handicap Arizona plates - KKN42.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

According to Crubaugh’s daughters he has been diagnosed with the early stages of Dementia and has not been taking his medication. Another concern of the family is that he has recently met a much younger female and they fear she has conned him in spending his money on her. It was also added that Crubaugh has had several recent falls that have resulted in head trauma.
