Arizona Soccer beats Baylor to streak to six

TUCSON, AZ - Arizona won their sixth consecutive match Sunday afternoon defeating visiting Baylor 3-1 on Murphey Field at Mulcahy Stadium.

The Bears goal early in the second half broke the Wildcats scoreless streak at five and a half matches.

Emily Knous put the Cats on the board twice, scoring in both the first half and second.

Knous now has four goals this season, which is tied with Jada Talley for a team-high.

Freshman defender Hallie Pearson sealed the deal for the Wildcats in the 65th minute, scoring her first goal of the season to make it 3-1 Arizona.

The Wildcats (6-1) are back in action on Friday at 7 p.m. MST to face Cal State Fullerton at Mulcahy Stadium.
