A shooting on the east side of town has injured at least one person Thursday morning, authorities reported.
No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting at this time. Police are in pursuit of the shooter, according to Sgt. Mark Robinson, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
Just before 2:30 a.m., people were seen arguing outside a residence in the 7400 block of Tamara Street, near Golf Links and Kolb Road, witnesses report.
There is at least one victim who was shot, Robinson said.
The victim, whose name will not be released at this time, was taken to a hospital, with serious gunshot wounds.
No other information is available at this time. The reason for the disagreement that precipitated the argument is unknown.
Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
